Guys I have recently upgraded to a capricorn ptfe tube, a metal extruder and a CRtouch. now I'm getting this kind of output if any at all. if I push filament through the extruder I get a normal amount coming out but otherwise just this. I've cleaned the hotend throat and it seems clean. Any help is appreciated. https://imgur.com/G4DuZ1V

Looks like your to close to the bed try leveling it manually
@cloud forum Thanks for your reply. That was the first thing I tried then I adjusted my -z offset and nothing was coming out.
@cloud forum Also if I push filament through the extruder I get a normal amount
Mess with extruded settings to make sure it’s giving out enough filament
@cloud forum that's on the printer itself not slicer?
I believe so
Your printer might just be shooting out blobs instead of a consistent strand
Maybe a factory reset would work
Hmm ok. Someone mentioned possible tension issues with the extruder but he couldn't remember where it is you adjust it. I have an Ender 3 v2
Check Reddit answer probably there
Np feel free to ask questions that’s the whole point of this server
Could definitely be your tension. You adjust it using the grub screw
Do you hear clicking when it’s extruding?
@tidal plover No no clicking. Is the grub screw by the extruder handle?
I even adjusted the height too high and then nothing came out
Height of what? The bed?
no the nozzle.
Sorry. That’s what I meant. Yea. When the nozzle is too high, it makes this shape
Lower it and see if it still comes out
Oh no sorry I'm not explaining myself correctly. I trammed the bed and the height was perfect, but resulted in those blobs when previously (With the stock tube) I have had near perfect prints, I thought it may have been too close to the bed so I raised the height to see if any filament was coming out and none was.
Looks like a problem with your extruder, seems like it doesnt have a proper grip on the filament
raise the printhead by 100mm and extrude 20mm of filament using the console,
is any filament coming out?
if not look at the extruder, is the gear spinning? is it gripping the filament? is it pushing the filament
I solved the problem. The grub screw wasn't aligned with the flat part of the gear pin of the motor, so it had slipped! once I aligned it back up and set the gear to the correct height it worked!
