Hi all, Wanted to get advice on which way to print face masks. I have been tilting them down, facing the plate (See photo) and this brings faster print speeds but then the supports make the eye holes rough when I break them off. How do you guys print these? thanks. Josh

That's usually how I've seen other's orient it as well. I've printed mine both that way and with the top on the build plate without issue. Like you said, there's always tradeoffs between speed, filament used and finishing required. It's really up to you to decide what your balance is though.

Personally, the eyeholes aren't at all hard to sand, less filament is used for supports at that angle and it prints faster...so I'm ok with it like that 🤷‍♂️

(Either way, there's probably gonna have to be some finishing though)
