So I am having some issues I can't seem to sort out on my cr30. Always the same spot originally I thought he print wasn't flat to the bed in the slicer but if I flip it and print tip First it comes out beautifully until the part of the hilt. The nozzle hits the print. Usually I'd turn on z hop but there is no z hop on the cr30.

Anyone else with a cr30 run into this?

@fathom dragon try lowering the bed a tiny bit. My cr30 doesnt handle z hopping very well and snags the print in spots too. Only way i can get around it is adjusting the bed a little bit lower to kinda give it a better chance

Oh dude i have such a love/hate relationship with mine. I learned by printing flexy dragons how often the nozzle can snag the print. My gunblades only succeeded because there isnt many parts for it to hop and fail the print

ya that was my thinking with this print too. it only has the big spot right there on the hilt. but dang is it being a PITA

I want to get a 5KG spool and print a long flexi dragon for my kids but havnt got this thing running consistantly yet

@fathom dragon biggest flexi dragon should only cost about 500g if i remember mine right. Unless you really crank the infill

for the kids i usually up them to about 15% sometime 20%

Seems to run wayyyyy better than creality's belt slicer too. Been meaning to find a better slicer for the cr30 so this helps a lot

And this is a 0.4mm profile with my 0.8mm nozzle i forgot to change it in the slicer 🤣
I'm amazed it's coming out so well. @pine yew
