Hello guys so I just fixed my printer and wanted to print some small gifts for friends and everyting was going fine until my print kent failing mid print. A lot of times I had a clog and my fillament would be stuck with a huge chip out of the side. Does anyone know what caused this and how I can prevent it?
Thx

Looks like filament grinding, can be caused by a clog/partialclog

Clear the clog

Fire up the nozzle to 230. Take off the Bowden. Take off the nozzle. Take off the coupler. Take some Bowden tube then feed it through to scrape the inside of the hot end. Put the nozzle on. Then push filament through it and make sure it comes out straight. Then put it back together. Make sure the bowden is cut straight and clean too

You can also do a “cold pull” to clean out your nozzle if there is junk in it. Heat up your nozzle and have filament come out the end. Back it down to 100 then pull the filament out of your hot end. This should help get out any junk in your nozzle.
