✅ - help with layer lines

I did a faceplate and it was super smooth but even at the end result there’s still layer lines I guess I didn’t go thick enough with the primer or enough low grit sanding. Will wet sanding or anything help in the gold? Or should I leave it

My suggestion is just keep sanding, or use bondo

yup.. keep sanding.. when you think you are done do some more

Use a brush to get all the dust out, because when you think it’s smooth, and feels smooth it’s not.
Start with a 60-80 grit and rough it up, you shouldn’t be able to feel the lines with your finger nail
