I find it hard to install this RedRex dual gear extruder onto my stepper motor and I come to realize that the extruder’s stepper motor shaft is extremely short and no matter how good I tighten the end of the gear it slips out and fails
Is it possible to extend the shaft? Or do I need to buy a totally different stepper motor??
I’m trying to get this done on an Ender 3 Pro

Yeah I had this same problem. Luckily I had an extra stepper motor around but that might not be the case for you. You can order a different all metal extruder kit with a gear similar to the original one. It might be hard to find based on name but just look at the picture for a gear that looks like the original one that came with your printer.
