#looking for first layer interpretation please

Too close.
The sections on the left appear to be the same. Ok thank you!
Thanks fellas I'll live level and start over
Live leveling is tough at first, but once you get it, it’s so much easier to level it if something happens to the bed
Yeah. Still new, thanks for all the help. I've pulled from -1.42 to -1.38 still happening
Yep, auto. Cr10s pro v2
Seems to be better after live leveling a corner. It's wavy now.
Those waves are throwing me. Usually see those too close. But the rest of it looks like too far.
The skirt isn't well tacked to the plate at all
Skirt seems to say too far.
Yeah. It's crazy. When the skirt adheres, the print quality is crap on first layer. When skirt almost blows off, the print itself sticks better
What all have you done to level it? Just the paper method?
I have tried a glass bed, couldn't get any adhesion. Since swapping back tot he stock bed. It's been problems. Aux level with the tool, live level, bed level tests, you name it. Re leveled the horizontal axis.
The prints before were with z axis at -1.37 and got this quality
Now I have to fuss with everything all the time and I'm not getting anywhere near the first layer quality
Even the temp on the earlier prints was 200 and 50.
Now nothing sticks unless 210 and 65
I guess I'm supposed top use a glue stick on the glass...
But didn't have any so swapped back.
I dont use glue stick on glass with pla+, I do wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol before I print. I think you're still a little far from the bed. How tall is this first layer?
I am using the CHEP high quality cura profile. So I think it's 1.2
If that's what you are asking
Yes. .12 layer to start is pretty challenging. Can you add the setting in cura to have a different fist layer size?
I would love to if that function is available in cura. If so, what do you set yours at?
Or recommend?
I always use .2 on my first layer.
