Looking at it again... It appears that the faceplate is opening "slow" and closing "fast" which indicates maybe your servos need to be reversed. The design is for the faceplate to open "fast" to account for the weight of the faceplate and close "slow" to prevent it from slamming down and getting out of alignment like what you are experiencing.
