Printed 2 weeks ago & worked perfectly, now I'm getting this no matter the size.
Excessive stringing, looks like it's bubbling in the print lines, filament sticking to nozzle as its flowing out.
Ender 5+, pla+, stock except for all alloy extruder & capricorn tube.
Temps have been 215-190 for nozzle
Bed 60-65.
Oh & I get the lovely triangle prime line at the start when the geode is normal.
TIA.

Curious... when or if it actually gets to printing, does it fail part way through?
Nope, straight away, just been trying to do a retraction test, as the filament starts to print, part of it will the stick to the nozzle which in turn just curls the filament up and not touching the bed.
I'm currently letting it going through it's motion to lay the base and will stop it before the sticks, to see how it looks.
This is 3 layers of printing the retraction test
The first thing to look at is definitly adhesion. Being too close to the bed can cause a clog, and too far and it'll not stick to the bed (and more likely the nozzle)
Clean the bed and maybe add an adhesive to it. If there's clogging, raise the nozzle a bit by adjusting the z offset
Could be part of the problem, don't use too much pressure when using pliers to remove filament around nozzle.
too much pressure take filament off around the end of the nozzle
I'm just in awe
So I seem to have fixed it, looks like nozzle was loose by a bees d**k, which allowed filament to pool on top of heat break, obviously need allowing all filament out of nozzle.
I mean... a messed up nozzle would do that
My ender 5 is weird eith it's issue
It doesn't arise unless the print is more than 2 hours in
And after failing, it fixes itself
I've been doing flexi print lately, but the latest one doesn't even get through the first layer without failing, which is about a 16 hr print, but we'll see how it goes this time.
I'm also trying to upgrade at the same time but no printing means no upgrades
And the triangle prime line is lots of fun too, NOT.
