My stepper motor is going in the wrong direction. I have the CR 10 V3 and it’s stepper motor isn’t going the right direction, it’s pushing the filament the wrong way. What can I do to solve it?!

Did you just update the firmware or the cables on it?

I tried to switch the cables already and the firmware is up to date

But did you do anything prior to it going in reverse?

I just downloaded a file to my sd card and it started to go backward

You can change it with firmware or you can change it by swapping some wires on the cable

I tried to buy a new cable and stepper motor for the e axis but it didn’t work

What Wires should I which?

And which new firmware should I get it from? The Creality website or should it be Marlin?

This should help. I had to do it on one of mine after a firmware update

and I didn't want to tweak the firmware because it isnt my strongsuit

offhand I think it was the two middle cables needed to be inverted to get it to work
