Transition for Alight motion tutorial

Can anybody please help me? I need to know how to make this kind of transition.
The transition I'm referring to is the one where the character enters without the exterior of the image and then it kind of merges with it

You can just remove the background then put the full picture in the last secs of the character (background removed)
