My ae keeps freezing, please help me.

try clearing ur cache
sometimes restarting ur pc helps (when windows decides to update sth for example, it hinders usual performance)
if it happens with a specific effect, that effect might use more ressources than ur pc has (adobe likes to go crazy with ressources for no reason)
also make sure u dont have apps running that use a lot of ressources (check that with task manager for example)
