don't have a name for the project yet either, but I hope you all enjoy it ๐Ÿ™‚

Hey @warped osprey Well this is a vibe. Very summer, beach party vibes. Nicely produced too and begging for more vocals, possibly even as a lead. It seems to lack lows in my headphones so they could definitely be pushed much, much louder and balanced accordingly. Great start, I enjoyed listening to that ๐Ÿ’ช

@vocal current Thanks for the feedback my guy, means a lot. So glad you enjoyed listening to it as well! ๐Ÿ™‚ I have more vocals in the works at the moment and I'm working on the low end as well ๐Ÿ™‚

I've done some work to it now and tried to master it (even though I really don't know what I'm doing ๐Ÿ˜… )

Hey man, giving each version a listen and typing as I go.

V1

  • The intro is lovely!
  • Synth comes in nicely balanced
  • Def getting poolside vibes. ๐Ÿ–
  • Jay's right - it's lacking low end big time. Everything below like 300 hz seems to be cut. My sub was hardly putting anything out. You can bring that up by 10dB+ most likely.
  • Second breakdown is nice!
  • One thing I've noticed with the pads are that they don't really change at all. A sidechain, phaser, or rhythmic volume modulator would add a lot IMO.
  • I like that chopped up vocal! It could drop back a touch to make room for a lead vocal, but I dig.

V2

  • Already hearing more low end! Nice...
  • Snaps are a great addition!
  • Snare roll builds tension well
  • The drop is structured well, but again lacks low end. You can absolutely push that much harder.
  • The vocal is a nice add, but it can come forward in the mix a couple dB (or you can sidechain the synth elements to it). Is the chorus effect built in? Or did you double it and change the pitch of the copy?
  • Good drop again
  • I see you like that impact sound with the low end. Once you get your kick and bass loud enough, you may find that having the low end left in the impact will immediately make the mix clip, so be aware of that as you tweak.

All in all, it's quite nice! I enjoyed listening and can easily see myself hanging with the crew poolside sipping on a rum drink lol... You're heading in the right direction! Keep it up!
