Hello guys, This is for any of you mixing/mastering wizards!! ๐Ÿ˜

I've been trying to reach those professional standards in my tracks, just curious if you guys think my track ''Sounds Amateur''

This is an intro to a mix I'm gonna release soon, but if any of you could take the time to listen to it and let me know about the quality of the track itself. It would be a huge help. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Wow! That's MAZZA dude! Levels seem well balanced imho. Only comment is around the 0.39 mark where the saw kicks in and the mids get a little entangled and sounds are lost. That's more the amount of things going on rather than the mastering though tbh. Overall good, its BIG and doesn't sound amateur from where I'm sitting.

Thanks for the feedback!! this is very reassuring!! Makes me much more confident to release more! I'll look into that part, I do agree with you. I think part if it is a lower quality sample I've used.

But again, thanks for taking the time to listen ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Any time! I'm not mix/mastering engineer, but my own tracks only seem to need light/minimal tweaks by the pro's so hope it helps. I think the saw, vocals and other elements all at once will always cause a conflict somewhere so something has to give way to allow the focal sounds to come through. Try using a Spectrum (built-in tool in Ableton, set the block to 16384, refresh rate all the way up to 200ms and the average to 8 and you'll be looking for a nice, even diagonal from top left to bottom right. Any peaks or dips will show where you missing or maxing frequencies.\

this is crazy bro, but feel like vocal could be a bit higher in the mix feel like it gets drowned by the other big sounds

Sounds great and agree w Ahmed, if you've got trackspacer that's a great tool to help vocals stand out
