I got the idea after watching vintage culture's tomorrowland set and kinda liked the vibe of his purple hills remix, so I decided to make my own version. My mixing process was EQing with each layer I made, I used some gain staging as well as adding the side chain to pull back on the bass so the kick could shine.

have you put thins in mono? it sounds kinda stragne fro some reasons, like it's a lot wider than ut should be. and second try to make little variatons at each end of your drum pattern

I think what happened is I may have put too much width on the track to try and make the bass/kick sound thicker. This week I'll go back and make some changes to the track as well and post an update.

So heres the newer version, I changed up the bassline to give it some more energy and added some variation to the drum patterns. I also added some synth plucks too to make it a bit more interesting as well.

Idk why, but it sounds like the vocals are out of key with the lead
