Hi everyone! I hope you are all doing well, I am not gonna lie definitely have a different sound than I usually go for but would love some feed back on this track! let me know what you think, I think the overall layout of the track is good and think it has potential PS sorry its a drop box, my soundcloud is full

Hey bro, listening to this just now. I think it has potential, it is leaning towards a more techno vibe, I like it. The bassline is really cool, reminds me of HI-LO's style.

There are 2 main issues that in my opinion are dragging the track down. First of all, the kick. It is really lacking, it doesn't have enough punch. I would honestly look for a different one and make it sit properly in the mix. It's up to you if you go towards a more tech house style kick or a techno one with more rumble in it. Along with it you also need a strong clap. I like the hi hats you are bringing in but they could also use a boost.

The 2nd issue are the transitions right before the drop, it cuts off too suddenly and seems a bit out of place. There is also an issue with the reverb automation, it comes back right before the pre-drop vocal. The transition at 1:52 is also way too sudden. I think you need a 16 bars break there in which you slowly filter out some of the elements and bring in a snare and some FX plus automation. At the moment it feels out of place, you are not really creating tension.

Keep working on this, I think it can and end up as a really nice track.
