The vocal chops need more saturation / compression / reverb / echo, rn sounds like you've just thrown a EQ over them and taken out the highs. They need to be pushed back / wide more. Need a heavier sub in the bass too. Loops also need a bit more glue. I like the idea tho it's vibey af
Also I'm not sure if it's intended but he kick sounds like it has a filter on it and has taken out all the lows
the vocal chops do only have an eq on them in this lmaoo, working on widening them as we speak actually because I did notice that 🙂 I may be biased tbh because of my speaker I listen on but I think it has plenty sub, will experiment more through my headphones to see if I'm tripping. Can you expand on the loops needing more glue?
It doesn't could be the file or something I'll see if I can heavy it up without muddying the bass though, I do know what you mean by the kick having a hard mid hit or whatever you wanna call it, Ive filtered it out slightly so it's more punchy but it's possible I ctrl z a bit far while doing that lmaooo
Thanks for the feedback homie that was some real quality tips ❤️ @dusk shard
To widen chops a few simple tricks I would throw on a little ping pong 1/4, and/or could have 2 tracks panned L/R with a tiny bit of delay on one of them. Add more reverb / saturation / glue compression (if you are in abelton) to the loops, helps push them into the mix more
