i like that bassline. i think some vocals are out of time, but its a demo ofc. for me the second break down needs more element-builds, i prefer the 2nd movement to the first, it kept me more interested. does that make sense? the vocals were better.
I like it, feel like the bass needs to change tho it doesnt have enough sub in it and it doesn't really give the bass that it needs try using a different preset or sample maybe, also do u have a compression or OTT on the master or something because i feel like the volume of everything is changing alot through out the tune mainly on the reverb and it sounds a bit wierd imo but cool idea.
I agree with @frail rain you are lacking in the lowend, maybe the preset has to be tweaked a bit, right now the bassline is not strong enough. In terms of structure the 1st breakdown is going on for too long(almost 2 mins) and you are giving away too much in it. The main synth should be filtered and slowly introduced, same with the vocal. It is taking away from the tension and the drop is not that satisfying.
Yeah currently i still have a limiter on the master for some reason, i think i forgot to take it off at some point.. and thanks for the advice on the low-end region
try turning like all the tracks down to like 10db and then put a limiter with 10db added gain so that this way u have room when ur mastering
you're a pro at this
haha not necessarily but i know some stuff
Can you elaborate on this?
so basically what u would do is put a limiter on the master and turn the volume up by about 7 - 10 db and turn all your tracks down by about 7db just so then u have more space for mixing and mastering its not a necessary thing but it can help.
