Please can someone tell me what the heck is breaking on my game all of a sudden? I have been fine all week long and now today I have crashed 5 times.

Verify your game files through Steam.
Try rolling back the save to a backup. Keep current save on your desktop while you test. Only need change the backup file name so that the .backup is no longer in the name.
Found in User/AppData/Local/Icarus/Saved/PlayerData/SteamID/Prospects
