A couple days ago, one of our friends "died" fighting the "Hammerhead," and the character's body went out of reach of the playable grid on the map. I know it's completely impossible to recover the items, but that's not the problem. The problem is that the grid is out of sync with the map image.
And there's no way to resynchronize while his "corpse" is still there. He enters with the character in question, but he can't join the match. It just shows "preparing geometry," and even trying to move (A W D S) does nothing.
I also noticed that if any of us puts the PIN outside the map, the grid also moves outside the playable area in relation to the background image. From what I've detected, this doesn't only happen in Prometheus, but in all maps.
Do you think you can do something about this?

That happened on hammerhead? normally it's only in the instanced fights that it does that. Weird.
For a short-term thing, you could try using sara's map editing tool to remove him from the prospect and then have him rejoin. I don't know if that would completely clean up the body, though, so definitely make a backup before you do. Obviously it's not letting him rejoin because it can't get the geometry for his location, which makes sense given it's outside the bounds.
I'll bring it up in backchannels as well for some kind of longer-term fix. maybe there's a way they can auto-move player corpses or something.
