Icarus.exe (execute file) not working after recent update

I noticed after the first project update, I would try to start icarus through steam and steam would try to run the game but fail. I then went to the file location and tried to start the game from the .exe file and that didn't work. Please help.

Here are my PC specs:
Intel I7-6700K
32GB RAM
GTX 1060 6GB

You need to say what the error is

Make sure Defender isn't blocking the exe. That would be my guess.

Also if you are running Win 11 there is some security feature that will block the game. Sorry I forget what it is called but I know for our server hardware I got the message popped up and so I went and disabled the feature.
Could also look in the Logs to see that should certainly tell you why the server will not start.

I am running Windows 10. I also looked for crash reports and found none. I'm not totally sure how to get to the logs, can you tell me how?

Have you recently updated your Graphics Driver?
If yes, the new Game Ready update is bad, roll back the driver or install the Studio Driver instead.
