#Steam Resync between Cloud and PC save failed.

I went to resync my prospects save, the most recent being the steam cloud save for 1/31, and my PC's last save for 1/30. I clicked the option to use the most recent steam cloud save, but it loaded my PC's 1/30 save. I lost a significant amount of progress. Is there a way to reverse this?

This is why you disable the Steam Cloud garbage to avoid these issues. Had this happen with another game and that was enough for me. I have no reason for the cloud. Like my saves where I can see them. LOL

The only reason for Steam Cloud sync is either when you're playing from multiple PCs, or in case your local drive crashes.
To mitigate the latter, regularly make a manual copy of the %localappdata%\Icarus\Saved\PlayerData<SteamID> folder and put it on another PC / NAS / USB drive / cloud storage

Saves are automatic. If you go to User/AppData/Local/Icarus there is a SAVED folder in there. Can always create a new folder right there and put a copy into the new folder as a backup.
If you do not see AppData in User it is hidden by default. So look at the top for something like VIEW then follow your nose in there.

When you stop playing, don't quit to desktop right away.
Return to Character Select first and give the game a minute to save the prospect before Exit to Desktop
