I'm playing on a gportal server and I'm noticing the Bee hives in the caves are not spawning in most of the time. A few occasions I've had the hive spawn in after being in the cave a few minutes. When they do spawn in I can kill them but not access them. They also still spawn bees even if no hives are there. The ones in the hollow trees function just fine and it's only been a few days this has happened. Like 2 days I wanna say. I needed a few more honey comb to build a hive and was running caves to find them and my single player playthru I already got the hives. Dunno what the issue is but saw there was some patch issues and figured maybe it was connected.

It's an ongoing issue. Just have to travel a little further to find accessable beehives in other caves.

Server host has nothing to do with this issue. Also there are bees in dead trees around the map too. Look for those you hear the buzzing when you start getting near.
Most times the Bee Hive is there but can be inside the wall. Friend said if you get near to the hive it can pop out. They are always in the same place it would seem.

I had this issue on my styx map but mine have been working for the last 1-2 patches, they were broken for the longest time *if you attacked where the hive should be in the cave, it would appear, but nothing would be in it" Now I am noticing all my hives are back so I thought it was fixed ><

Thanks I've only been playing a few weeks so don't know all the ins and outs yet. It was working great on single player and I rented a server cause my map started lagging really bad. Then I went to look for hives and I'm like oh yeah the caves.

just wait until you get the super fun worm or beehive IN the wall issue, they can get you but not the other way around without explosive damage
