It has happened several times that after logging into the open world of Prometheus, cabinets or floors disappear from my base. This is not a display error; the components are simply no longer there.

Obvious first question: Are you running any mods?

If so, remove mods (simply disabling won't always be sufficient), verify files in Steam.
If not, verify files in Steam.

I dont use any mods. Also Backup dont Work.

Next question would be:
How big is this base?
Also, how many building pieces exist in the prospect? Press Esc and top left it should tell you the amount of building pieces and deployables.

Run Localized Terraforming device around your base to regenerate all trees that are cut or burnt down.
Run Thumper around your base to regenerate all mined nodes (beware of the wildlife though).
Run your prospect on a Dedicated Server (if you're not doing so already).
If you're running one big water and power network across the map, disconnect the lines leaving the base.

When the game is too busy loading in all building pieces upon prospect load, some building pieces may fail structural stability, crumble and break before structural stability calculations are completed.
The risk of this happening increases with more building pieces and deployables in one location.
Harvested trees, mined nodes, mined rocks close by increase the chance as well (it's all Delta Data that needs to be processed).
Extensive power and water networks add extra load as well; even producers / consumers / storage devices that normally wouldn't load in because they're too far out, will still need to be loaded in because they're present in the active network in base.

Yes, I have a Terraform device, but it's not on display. I think the base is a bit larger. I can upload a picture when I get home.

That's the base. Yes, there seem to be a few components, but I had a similar base on Styx and some other users have also reported this error. I think it's a shame, because the game itself is very well designed and offers the opportunity to build bigger.

It's all adding up.
Base pieces, deployables, power and water network sizes, cut or burnt down trees, harvested rocks, mined nodes...

To decrease the chance of building pieces disappearing due to the time needed to load in your base, run the Thumper as well as the Localized Terraforming Device.
Also make sure in your game settings the options 'respawn big rocks' and 'respawn foliage' are enabled (or if you play on a Dedicated Server, make sure those options are enabled in the ini file)

4k building pieces should be fine.
However, it kinda also depends on the hardware the prospect is running on (your gaming rig if you're hosting locally, or the underlying hardware if you're running on a DS).
There's quite a number of variables in play here...
