No I don’t, I didn’t change or do anything different. Hopped on with my boys to see if we can finish the last part of a mission.

The game doesn't just roll back to an earlier backup.
You'll need to remove and rename some files to do that.
It might be that the game didn't save (although that'd mean the last session lasted for 6-10 hours, which is quite a long time) - have you been playing with the automatic save timer?
Or if you're playing on a Dedicated Server, that server might have gotten a roll-back / restore.

I have been playing on a server in the game so I didn’t create a dedicated server. The automatic server was on, I’m going to try and see if I can go back to the saved files and see if I can revert to a saved file while I was playing .

I did everything required. I checked the all the saved backup files. Auto-save has been on and I dont even know how to turn it off. Something happened after the update and im not sure what. You are saying the game doesn't just roll back to an earlier backup, but it did. My friend lost his legendary weapon, he can't even request it because the game thinks he already redeemed it. I got all my boys on discord with me trying to figure out what could of happened.

For recovering the Legendary weapon try this:
Pinned messages in #how-to-icarus
Twist's guide "LOST ITEMS OR CURRENCY", point D (retroactively insure the weapon, so you can claim it back)
I haven't tried this with legendary items though, so I'm not sure it'll work
