Me and my friends started a dedicated server using a computer he built to be servers for games we play so its in our control completely. Just recently i had an issue where i couldnt log into the game and would get stuck on preparing geometry and pressing wasd did nothing, eventually if i stayed trying to log on long enough i would crash the server, my friend who owns the server tried helping by restarting the server and other stuff but nothing would fix this issue, i even did some things on my end in case it was a connection issue like ive been having before with the server as im the only one having connection problems with the server where i have to restart my routers just to connect to the server. When he looked at the server log or whatever its called to see whats happening real time it kept saying playercharacterid not valid and we couldnt find any information online about this line of text so i came here and i searched playercharacterid not valid in these forums and found nothing so im making my own post, we would like to avoid starting over but its looking inevitable. After having this issue he tried logging in and also started having the issue now so it has spread to others how many we dont know cause he chose to turn it off after that. we hope someone can help us but if we dont receive any help soon we will just start over but it would be nice to still know if we can avoid this from happening again.
