#Weekly updates for 40GB+ killing our SSD`s !!!

They did a pretty big update on this (reducing the update size) quite a while ago.
Whilst there isn't an official option to stop auto updates, you can try modifying the appmanifest_#####.acf for Icarus (keep in mind, I'm not responsible if you break anything 🤔 )
Keep in mind though, if you plan on playing coop or on a Dedicated Server, you'd need the same game version in order to be able to play.

As of recently steam has added a new option called “Let steam decide” and it will update depending on how much you play it
Its good to see they add new stuff weekly, but not for the weight of a whole game. Deleted it. Will wait for a cumulative update then install it again (for something really intresting that worth 40gb) .
This week update appear like 40Gb, but it download 5Gb and patched fine.
Edit:
Platform: windows 11, PC, Steam
That's the difference between the new stuff downloaded (5GB) and applied to the game files (40GB)
