Hoping I can get a partial refund. I attempted to purchase the game for myself and for my brother after trying the free play this past weekend. Unfortunately Steam registered as him owning the game because we had the free trial. I was able to buy it for myself at the discounted price, but I had to buy his at full price because of this issue. I don't think anyone here can do the refund; even the RW team doesn't have control over that. You could probably contact Valve/Steam themselves and ask about it. My understanding is that you would have had to remove the free-to-play license and then purchase the regular to make it work.
