Hey so I previously came here about this issue and thought it was fixed but alas... It was not. My updates are downloading on a different drive (HDD) than the game is on (SSD). I thought this was because it was initially on the HDD and I moved the game to my SSD for faster updates. I couldn't find out how to move the install folder for the downloads, so I just uninstalled the game and re-installed it and thought that would fix the issue... It didn't. How do I fix this? I'm super tired of slow install times for Icarus

it usually means you have Steam libraries on the slower drive. Steam picks where it is going to download stuff. only way to prevent it is to only have Steam libraries on the faster drive.

Really? I have them across 3 different drives and don't have enough room for my games to have it all on my main drive ugh.

you can disable the slow drive's steam library without deleteing the games, just reenable the library again to access the games on that drive. its up to you whether that's more of a pain than waiting on an unreal engine game to update

Dang, okay. Thanks. I also opened a ticket with steam but who knows if that'll do any good
