Cant load into mission, items in mission

So first time playing icarus in a while, got a maxed level character with all my gear in a mission, when i click load choose the mission and hit resume nothing happens, no loading screen nothing. How can i safely get my gear and character back without loosing items, the mission is not insured, but i cant even load into it

Characters are no longer bound to Prospects, only workshop gear. To recover your workshop gear, follow steps A and D (or A and B): #how-to-icarus message
