Extinct polar bears?

Hey guys im playing styx open world in dedicated servers and for some reason, can't find ANY polar bears, exception is when we make a kill mission.

Anyone knows why

Or where I can find them?

Although this map is usefull, I have went through all arctic biomes and found polar bears spawned only when I was fighting the scorpion boss, otherwise, no bears AT ALL
