from what i have read they are trying to fix it but no idea when it will happen, but basically the server that holds all game data is offline or crashed or the connection to download it or access it is broken.
thank you for your answer. but is the problem still? because i read about it. they then fixed it, they wrote. and my girlfriend also comes in, it worked for her. where can i contact someone who can solve the problem?
I assume you already checked you are not running the game as Administrator, and also that you're running the production branch (and not the Experimental or the Centralized branch)?
Hello, yes. I have taken care of all these things. Had then tried to uninstall and reinstall it again but unfortunately the problem still exists. I can start again but would like to keep my old characters.
Rename %localappdata%\Icarus\Saved\PlayerData<SteamID> folder & try a migrate again.
This folder holds all your locally stored Icarus data.
Upon uninstalling of the game, this folder most likely stays behind (I haven't uninstalled, so I'm not sure; but it's a pretty educated guess).
And if there's an issue with the files in this folder, uninstall and re-install won't help.
