Hey, I have not been able to connect to game servers since update 18. each week I come back and do a full trouble shoot with no success. 1// I have disabled all firewalls, 2// ensured that administrator mode is disabled for steam, icarus, and icarus-win64-shipping. 3// I have reinstalled the game and verified integrity. 4//I have reset my pc and verified I can connect to internet and that Icarus is the only game not connecting (this includes other games by the same developer). 5// flushed dns/ reset dns / registered dns

Seeing that running everything without administrator mode wasnt working i tried running with administrator working. this too failed... however resetting it all back out of administrator mode seems to of done the trick. IDK if its dumb luck or a fix but after doing all of the above 5 steps- set steam, icarus, and icarus win64 shipping to run as administrator. Then launch. this should fail. exit the game. turn off admin mode for the above three applications and launch again. This has temporarily allowed me to connect for the first time in weeks. It seems that admin mode is the culprit but I triple verified those items were not in admin mode. once I set them to and then set them off of admin mode everything worked.
some sort of desynch or ghost setting? my neck beard aint ragged enough to know this stuff.
NOTE: I actually had to set them to admin mode and run the program first. So I know they were off to begin with.

Unbelievably this did work...I think it was more on the icarus-win64-shipping application having the admin startup and turning that off, but I can't say for certain.

I'm so glad I am not the only one to notice this. There is no troubleshooter that I found to suggest it. I just figured if everything I did failed then do exactly the opposite and hope for the best.
