War+Prot+Holy is probably the tankiest class, mostly thanks to the War+Prot passives to regen/leech life/increase def.
If you're playing with a friend though War+Prot+Shadow synergizes better if they're willing to take holy and handle the heals
There are also self sustaining wizard type classes that rely on bloodmancer passive from witchcraft and using a lot of DoT skills. (Bloodmancer makes your DoT's also HoT on yourself.)
