My pre-deploy jobs are not exiting. They are database migrations. I tried changing them to echo "bananas" and still seeing them not exit / continue to the next step. They have been hanging since some point earlier today.

Yeah I only noticed it after QA'ing a bug I spent all day fixing only to see it was still there. I did not expect to see a deploy from an hour ago was stuck in pre-deploy 😅

^This is not resolved. I have a deploy happening right now that has been stuck for the last 8 minutes. I just cancelled one a few minutes ago that was stuck for 20 minutes.

The only successful runs I have seen since this happened are ones where I removed the pre-deploy step.
