Hey, I'm kinda confused by your message, you want them to be in full control of the workspace and the projects in it?
I want to use someone else's billing info for that workspace, i was wondering if they need to be in the workspace and how i could restrict their access besides being the billing payer
I'm sorry if my question was confusing
I'm making a project which i want to sell to many clients. I want the clients to pay me for giving access to the project and i want them to pay the usage bills.
can i invite them just as a member and use their billing info for that workspace?
There's no "billing" role in workspace, only a "viewer" role, which I don't remember exactly what it grants, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't allow changes to billing information. I think the best option is to grant him temporary admin permissions and then remove them afterward.
but would removing them keep their billing info?
Yes it would
the workspace and all it's billing info will be kept there until it's deleted
alright so i should
1)create a new workspace for that client
2) invite the client that has already added their billing info and upgraded to the pro plan
3) make them the billing suer for that workspace
4) kick them
?
Pro workspaces require a credit card for creation, so the process would be:
- The client creates a workspace with their billing information
- The client invites you to their workspace
- The client transfers ownership to you and then leaves the workspace
I'm just wondering if the credit card will definitely stay as the credit card that's billed. if it does i guess this isthe fix to my problem
yep it'll stay
Alright, tysm for the help
