How do I add domains to my app via API?

I run a multi-tenant software platform (Kitcart.net) that provides eCommerce website for businesses and allow their sites to be accessible on their custom domains, our app is currently hosted on Heroku and we are considering porting to Railway but our major concern is how we can add custom domains to our app via API like it is provided on Heroku?
