#Increased efficiency for herbalists and mycologists

The ratio of the tiles of the main building to the average cultivated area is very poor.

Herbalist:

  • At average temperatures he usually only effectively cultivated about 3x4 (compost is used)
  • He is a 5x4 building.
  • To cultivate an additional 3x4 fields of herbs, you have to build another 5x4 main building.

Mycologist:

  • At average temperatures he cultivated almost a entire 4x4 area ( Normal Mushrooms and compost is used)
  • He is a 4x4 building.
  • To cultivate an additional 4x4 fields of mushrooms, you have to build another 4x4 main building.

This problem could be solved with the same upgrade that the farms have:

  • More workers in the main building would be able to cultivate more land from the same main building.
  • More yield per field thanks to compost reduces the number of additional buildings/fields that need to be constructed.

I'm not opposed to changes for this, but the larger plot area is useful when you need a lot of something and you have a few extra workers you can manually set to harvesting. So you have two workers in the Herb/Myc who are planting and several people outside who are harvesting. You can build up a lot very quickly in an emergency 😄 I also use that tactic for farming sometimes if I've somehow run out of food.

I also like this idea. Too often I feel like the land is wasted and there’s no upgrades. Faster harvesting upgrade would even just assist.
While I can agree with the above comment somewhat, it’s also really frustrating to have to micro manage/harvest constantly if you want to farm a large space for the herbs/mushrooms.
The buildings take up space, I want to be able to have the tiles selected and herbs/mushrooms growing because the space of the building itself is valuable and should give me what I need. Constantly sending villages to harvest is annoying.
