I really like the diagonal rectangle shape of Onbu but I think once you played on his back multiple times you start to just do the same thing every time. Since even when the two soil types move around it just feels the same.
I think that having Onbu's back take different shapes would add a really cool mechanic and make every run feel more unique. Also having indestructible objects on Onbu's back would also be cool.
Idk mabey my take is awful but I really think that this would be cool.
