How do I make aquafarms more efficient? They always seem to use up more fish than producing it. I had one running for a while with 50 fish in stock from the ocean and 3 villagers attached (of course I had enough water in stock too) and now the fishes are all gone. Therefore I currently don't see why I should build these in the first place? (Same goes for seaweed)

You might still be using them for other things than the aquafarm, faster than the famers can produce them. You might also be trying to grow them in bad temperatures.

Ah so only use aquafarm for producing fish if efficiency is green and not yellow you mean?

Okay if it's yellow, they should still be growing. I'm not really sure what's wrong. I don't tend to use them very heavily because they never seem to produce enough to keep up for me either 🤷

OK for the next run I will only use them in optimal biomes and test if they still use more fish than producing it 👍

it takes two fish to "plant" in the aquafarm, so if you end up planting it in bad temp it quickly decomposes and wastes the fish. if successful you end up with 4 fish. it takes a while but eventually it does gain fish. think of it like a bank investment that only gains money when the weather is right.
