AI is to art like a calculator is to math. Both are tools that givean output to your input and greatly speed up the work. Although, a calculator is typically right, an AI has to be prompted and regenerated multiple times usually.

For AI art to not be art is to say math done by a calculator isn't math.

Now, AI art is nowhere near as impressive as real art, same with calculations done with a calculator

it also isn't a human expressing it by creating the art, but their ideas are still being expressed through an AI that they had to prompt.
