- Why is every calisthenics person on YouTube half my age? Are there any calisthenics for retirees channels?
- Are there other 50+, overweight, males starting this program from scratch?
- I was always taught not to let my hips dip lower than my knees in squats, but Hampton shows going all the way to the floor and back up. Why? Is this not hard/bad on one's knees?
- I've found that some of these movements uncomfortably squish my marbles. I've had the same issue with some yoga poses. Is it because I'm old, overweight, doing the technique wrong, all of the above, none of the above, ...?

I don't know of anyone specifically targeting an older audience, but don't worry - pretty much all the same advice applies to you as well, and you just like anyone else just have to be sure to start where you're at and with what you're capable of :)

I know that there are yes, though I couldn't name any of the top of my head

we used to believe that bringing your knees over your toes is bad (aka going that far down) as it puts more stress on the knees, but that stress can very much be good as long as it's gradually increased and you thus adapt to it and grow stronger in those positions/under those loads -> tldr: more stress on the knees yes, but nevertheless good and encouraged - just as with everything else, gotta be sure to work up to things
-
both being older and overweight likely contributes to your marbles hanging a little lower than they otherwise might - to avoid discomfort (which is very understandably desirable) I recommend adjusting your technique as necessary and potentially wearing underwear or compression shorts to help keep everything in place/out of the way
And feel free to just always ask questions, I'll be here :)
