I still love the game but really? All that for a disappointing ending. Just great

||Kill Bruce off, bring him back for poor shock value, and than not only kills himself but kills a bunch of other people which just makes him go against his own morals in the end. Would’ve been better if you just kept him dead or just let him live but he had to recover from his injuries and mental state from the Lazarus pit. That could’ve also helped get a DLC with him that way the game is still the other characters while he just has a DLC. Hell that ending makes me just want a prequel DLC with him + the batfamily just to make up for that poor ending. Love the game but garbage ending.|| spoilers

||yea, i was pretty upset too, not much build up, they basically threw away the whole court of owls storyline until the very end and then we didn't even get to fight them, i just wish there was more and that wasnt the ending. also, i dont think bruce killed anyone, the talons were already zombies and i think the members of the court were able to run away||

||I wouldn’t necessarily say garbage ending but The League of Shadows was the true enemy in the game. Are both fathoms ever truly defeated? No. However, the Bat family thwarted the plan at hand and live to fight another day. Gotham will always need saving. That’s how I interpret it anyway 🤷🏾‍♂️||

||I don’t mean the villains. I mean how they killed Bruce off which was the whole point of stepping up as the next dark knight just for it to turn out he’s alive. That wouldn’t really be a bad thing as they could say he’s recovering from mental issues due to the pit and injuries received by Talia so the game can still be focused on them but then he gets ripped away to kill himself again 5 minutes later? That’s just poor writing and has been happening over and over again. They could’ve at least just kept him dead or had him out commission for a little bit as that would turn out to be a much better ending for not only the game but the GK universe where they can continue to expand it with Batman. Just this game (Gotham Knights) is their game||

||We’ll most likely get a new Batman/Bat family game close to what we got with this like multiplayer, open world, with the batfamily, and a bigger Gotham but that’s not gonna happen for a while sadly||

||Ok I had to rejoin to get my thoughts out cause I am so angry right now already I’m thinking the whole game the cutscenes we’re severely out of place when they had anything to do with character development cause they were interact-ables and like 5 seconds long they do a bad job at exploring both major enemies the court and the league like they couldn’t commit to either, then they bring Bruce back which was weird just to have him off himself 2 minutes later after having 3 lines of dialogue absolutely insane the only props I can give this game is the characters combat are unique enough and it’s fun to run around and beat up criminals||

||I couldn’t have said it better I agree I expected better out of the story being it was a major selling point for then mentioning at any possible time that the court of owls are in this game yada yada... Also hated the fact that all the cutscenes with the other knights and basically where all character development happened was strictly in the belfry like none of them could’ve met in a cutscene outside once not even after the final fight, it might sound nit picky but it honestly took me out of the immersion a bit that in a huge open world most of the story takes place in a little default looking apartment, may have been better if it was the batcave. But the games still fun I enjoy playing it with friends combat grew on me and open world n active crimes is nice||

||Oh I absolutely agree the combat is truly the only thing that’s gonna get me to play this game a second time and keep running around I really love that aspect of it the story just fell significantly shorter than I expected it to like they had elements of noghtwings with him expressing his feelings about caring Batman’s legacy on and wanting to protect and take care of everyone but then didn’t commit to it all it just got dropped the next second a true shame ||

I second this, i would of loved to see at least 1 other knight out in the world with you in a cutscene, or a cool idea would of been at the last mission inside the cave, you have the option again to pick which knight you want to play as exactly the same as the tutorial mission at the start of the game where they're all standing in a circle and you pick as they're chatting away. then you know that in your mind they would of been present in the cave as a the bat family should be

Also from my understanding the foundations of the game is built from a live as a service type of game before the flop of Avengers so they might of originally planned to have character development in set content pieces over a long period or short of time rather than 1 minute cutscenes in the belfry

||Now I’m just hoping we get a batfamily and Batman game in the future rather than a sequel to GK personally. You can use the same actors for Dick, Tim, Jason, Barb, and even Bruce. They’re all good for the role they play just make a new game and make everything better. Just don’t kill off Bruce and give us a DLC skin of the Batman suit from GK in that next game||

@pastel quail sorry for dragging you here but didn't want to post a spoiler in general chat. Batman kamikazed into the Lazarus pit, there's no way he's staying dead. My guess is someone will come looking for any remnants of the pit but only he will be there in the rubble. Since the pit twists people's minds, he could be brainwashed into becoming Azrael for the order of St. Dumas.

The ending would’ve been way more impactful if Bruce just stayed dead and made it focus on the batfamily taking on the court + Talia since that was the whole point of the game

1 or 2 things are most likely gonna happen though. Either they’re just gonna make a new Batman game again in the future (with batfamily) because I don’t see GK getting a sequel after everything it’s going though or before they cut development off from Gotham knights they’ll push out a Batman DLC either being a prequel or just saying he’s alive again but playable

I agree, it feels like WB/DC has completely forgotten the future timeline of Batman Beyond, ||which has Bruce being an old guy advising the new Batman||

Mark a crime on the map and defeat all but one criminal to get clues yh
Then go back to the tiltle screen and go back to the same crime scene and keep on doing that until u get the max clues (12) Then once u hit that go bk to the belfry and j keep on doing that to get XP and stuff.
That's what I do lol

My first play through I used night wing I went move for move with talia and it was a sick fight hardly lost any health…second play through I used robin and it was a bit harder but yes this game needs a sequel and maybe even like a prequel
