don't attempt to replicate what others have done, many youtubers have played minecraft for over a decade and they only show a portion of what they did in their videos.

Mr. B, as example, records over the whole week and trims that down into a 30 minute video
Or rekrap, on his most recent video he recorded over the span of 2 months and trimmed that to 2 hours

I personally don't recommend exactly following youtubers, but rather get your own world and do what you like.
your projects obviously can be similar, but if you don't find your own style, you won't be happy because you're trying to match other people

well you're comparing yourself to people 3-4 times your age
just play like you want, because ultimately you are playing for yourself and noone else

and for the seeds, all of them have their own great spot

for the early/midgame you have to mine andesite yea, later there are ways to automate it, JEI shows all the recipes for that
