I had bought a new gaming laptop to use while I am out on the road (truck driver). And had download both mod packs but neither will run. I keep getting a crash report that says a fatal error in JRE. But I can run Foxynotails modpack just fine. (All downloaded from curseforge). Any help would be appreciated.

Did you import the mod pack into your own forge instance? Or did you use a launcher like curse forge launcher to do so?

Used the curse forge launcher
I have also tried re-downloading minecraft and it's launcher and also using the repair installation option in the curse forge launcher and setting the path in the Java settings in curse forge.

The reason I ask is the fact that the modpack runs on forge version 47.2.0 whereas your log lists forge 47.3.11.

and this is after i installed it. so would that mean that there is an issuse with the update in the launcher?

If you're using the launcher, then in theory it should give you the correct forge version

in the file path C:\Users\wizar\curseforge\minecraft\Install\runtime there is a file called java-runtime-gamma. in there is a version file that has java version 17.0.8, would that be an issue.
