#Do i need AT Launcher for the perfect world Modpack?
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
you can use whatever launcher you want
curseforge, at launcher, prism for example
you could do it in modrinth too if you wanted but you would have to manually do that
heck
even the vanilla launcher will work
though I would not reccomend it over a mod manager launcher like curseforge or AT or prism
send the logs
what doesn't work
saying it doesn't work isn't informative
curseforge* forge is a modloader
okay and what does it do when you try to launch it?
screenshot curseforge and the modpack
the modpack isn't just one mod- it's many...
when you download on curseforge it doesn't contain the mods-
it is a reference to the mods
which then it downloads them
it's supposed to be a zip which has a manifest.json and a modlist.html
you have accociated it with a jar-
just use the curseforge launcher
do you have the curseforge app? if so download it on there. it will do everything for you
you don't need to. curseforge will grab all the mods
just launch through curseforge
curseforge uses it's own seperate launcher
from the main one
most likely
since they made the pack in curseforge
i'd argue most do it this way
using a modlauncher like curseforge also makes managing multiple modpacks easy
as they are all their own seperate instance
