Can you tell me how to make a mob farm?

Well, besides the normal ones, you could find spawners and bring them to your home. then, just build a simple spawner farm!

Pretty much this, vanilla mob farms but using create items to move mobs about / handle mob drops. Or spawner farms using create contraptions to gather multiple spawners into one place (word of warning, they can very quickly spawn more that the standard method of spawner farm killing can handle!)
