Styles not getting applied

I have been following the tutorial for some time but I got to the part where buttons where created but unfortunately styles where not getting applied to my touchable opacity buttons but if I try styling the text with native wind it works but not the touchable opacity so I styled styling the touchable opacity with default styling method it worked please what’s wrong
