“Attorney General Pam Bondi is ordering the FBI to “compile a list of groups or entities engaging in acts that may constitute domestic terrorism,” according to a Justice Department memo published here exclusively.
The target is those expressing “opposition to law and immigration enforcement; extreme views in favor of mass migration and open borders; adherence to radical gender ideology,” as well as “anti-Americanism,” “anti-capitalism,” and “anti-Christianity.”
This administration has previously defined “radical gender ideology” in other texts to mean anyone who says it’s okay to be Trans, or has given harbor, financial support, or used certain words like “exist” in the context of trans people.

Skate Canada to stop holding national, international events in Alberta
Skate Canada says it will no longer host major events in Alberta following a review of the province's legislation on the participation of transgender athletes in women's sport.
"Following a careful assessment of Alberta’s Fairness and Safety in Sport Act, Skate Canada has determined that we are unable to host events in the province while maintaining our national standards for safe and inclusive sport," the organization said in a statement emailed to CBC News.
A spokesperson for the organization said the decision only applies to national and international-level events. Alberta skaters are not barred from participating in Skate Canada programs and competitions, they said.

House passes bill to criminalize transition care for minors
The House passed legislation today that would charge doctors with a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison for providing transition-related medical care to minors.
The bill was approved largely along party lines in a 216 to 211 vote.
The measure, which is expected to die in the Senate, would impose the harshest penalty for doctors providing transgender treatments ever passed by the House.

Also this week, the House is expected to vote on a bill, introduced by Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, that would prohibit Medicaid from covering transition-related treatments for minors.
In remarks outside the House on Wednesday, Rep. Sarah McBride, D-Del., the country's first out transgender member of Congress, said the bills politicize "a misunderstood community and misunderstood care."
McBride said lawmakers should be concerned about Affordable Care Act tax credits' expiring Dec. 31, which would cause health care premiums for millions of people to increase. Instead, she said, GOP leadership “are obsessed with trans people.”
She added, in rare personal remarks, that "one of the things that gets so lost in this conversation is that the transgender adults of today were kids once."

But it’s an official corporate statement added to a webpage, not just a corporate webpage. While the link resolves to a corporate webpage, the content that matters is the official statement, which in my experience, usually (but not always) has a name or team attributed to the statement
What I was intending to say is that there’s little weight in the statement because, for all we know, it could be one of the authors mentioned in the TNN article of having transgressed journalistically, and they’re hiding behind the cover of anonymity to lob shots

Yeah, definitely. That was well covered in the TNN article that the NYT statement I’m criticizing was replying to. NYT doubling down on “facts and science” when they’ve been proven six ways to have been shipping disinformation, misinformation, and pseudoscience is doubling down on reputational damage. I think it’s fair to know who is attaching their name to NYT’s reputational damage, for posterity.

There's recently been a proposal submitted by the Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) to create a list of people who changed their name/gender under the self-identification law. While the initial proposal has been rejected, it may be reintroduced in the future. This is obviously a terrible idea, especially considering the increasing popularity of the far-right party.

So I am working on this as we speak; its more for just all crime but has subsections for hate crime; for example if "racist" is in the article but "graffiti" is also in the article it goes in one column; and then if "violence" or similar is in tehre it goes in another folder........... I think people dont realize but a standard punch up in a bar in the UK is a 5 year max sentence: if a witness heard you use a slur of any kind the victim can press for 7 years.
