Can someone help me geolocate these video's?

I am getting stuck geolocating these video's. I only know they are filmed at a gas station in the town of Tubas in the West Bank.

the gas station you mentioned is quite a good guess, just i don't think is the one because looking at the red roof and the plant on the other video the two videos doesn't match

That is what I thought as well! Also I can not see the big advertising banner over the road on Google Earth

because the gas station have the plant's on a side and also there is the red roof top, but nothing more than this.

the banner could be recent and maybe there are not the satellitary immage about that?

plus i think it speak about candy, and i am not able to do a research in arab

Search in the area is quite difficult i have to say

Use Mapillary.

And use https://www.govmap.gov.il

Do keep in mind that they work with ITM coordinates so that won’t function on Google (WGS-84).

And if you really want to prevent a migraine when switching maps because geolocating in Palestine asks for a more dynamic approach, download the OpenSwitchMaps extension to Chrome.

I got too much on my hands now to help with the raid on Jenin and settler attacks.

Can also be good so that this server learns more how to geolocate in Palestine. Which would be really beneficial to us. 😉

I need to work in a personal project now, also because if i keep thinking only about this i will probably find information that are not there

That’s what I prefer to call brute forcing.

Which I sometimes also do if other options are more difficult to use.

Is a good way to train your patience though.

This is also a prime example of Israeli/Palestinian reporting. I’ve read that they said it was in Tubas and Tubas City, which can easily lead you in the wrong direction thinking it’s in the centre while in reality it’s more on the outskirts of the village.

yep, I'be read the same, but also that he fled from the Eli settlement, so i searched for the settlement, and then i thought "is coming from the south, going to the north" After searching i thought "the gas station can not be in the center of the city, if you want to do some money probably you want get the most of the costumer, so at the beggining of the city" and i walking in mappilars i found it (i think) also, there is no recent picture at all, the immagery are all from years ago etc

As the settlements are regularly built from the top of the mountains. So what you do is scan the area’s most nearby the settlement or pretend in your mind your a settler and run down a hill.

Gaza is even another level.

There you don’t have Mapillary or normal quality satellite imagery.

Yes that is possible! If you zoom in a lot the video will make everything in the background look bigger as well
